Who We Are
The Private Wildlife Reserve "Hato Nuevo" with an area of 336 blocks, is a charm, quiet, pure and natural place that invites the national and international tourists to enjoy peace and tranquility of dry tropics, far away of the bustle of the city.
It is located in Western of Nicaragua, in the community "El Congo", in the municipality of “El Viejo, Chinandega”, at 177.5 km of the road "El Viejo-Potosí" (newly built).
It has a hostel with 6 rustic style rooms, but comfortables, with a highly Nicaraguan decoration, so that our visitors enjoy their stay.
We promote rural tourism, eco and adventure tourism without the expense of nature (sustainable tourism). We maintain a permanent campaign of care and preservation of species of flora and fauna in the Reserve.
