The main activities that you can develop and enjoy during your stay at Hostel "Hato Nuevo" are the following:

Walking along the paths near the hostel, where you can observe the flora and fauna of the area.

Riding a horse and venture into the 336 blocks belonging to the Wildlife Reserve "Hato Nuevo". Along the way you will be watching beautiful sceneries, arriving at one of our viewpoints you will can contemplate the beautiful Peninsula of Cosigüina, as well as the cliffs, the Esteros "Real" and "Padre Ramos" and the Fonseca's Gulf.

Climb the volcano "Cosigüina" accompanied by our guides (17 km from our Wildlife Reserve). It will be an unforgettable experience.

Meet the wetlands (10 km) as well as the Estero "Real" (7 km) and Estero "Padre Ramos" (18 km).

Enjoy a sunny day and the beautiful beaches of "Jiquilillo" (14km) and "Mechapa" (25 km).
